INTRODUCTION

Fee Policy.

All patients (except those with pension or health care card) are expected to settle their accounts at the time of attendance (emergencies excepted). We accept cash, cheque, EFTPos,  Bankcard, Mastercard and Visa. A $3 discount is offered for immediate payment as this obviously reduces our administrative costs.

Fees (immediate payment): as of 1st Feb 2019

            Consultation level B (standard)  $88

                                level C  (long or complex)  $128

                                level D (extra long) $175

            Home Visits level B  $147

                               level C  $210

BULK BILLING - Card holders and children under 14 are bulk billed for normal in-hours consultations. Bulk billing is NOT available on weekday evenings after 5pm, and all weekend. Cardholders are then charged a discounted fee. For those in financial difficulty special arrangements can be made after discussion with your doctor.

Prescriptions

In general repeat prescriptions will not be issued without being seen by your doctor. When repeat prescriptions are issued without  the patient being seen a fee of $5 will be charged.

REFERRALs

In general repeat referrals will also not be issued without being seen by your doctor. When repeat referrals are issued without  the patient being seen a fee of $15 will be charged.
